Over Plagiarize
Plagiarize, Instant, ontworpen door Ben Thompson voor het eerst uitgebracht in mei 2020 in de set Torment and was printed exactly in 4 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 0,44.
Plagiarize would be a valuable addition to a control deck in Magic: the Gathering, especially in a multiplayer setting where card advantage is crucial. This card can disrupt opponents' card draw strategies and provide you with additional resources, potentially turning the tide of the game in your favor. While there are similar cards like Notion Thief that have a more immediate impact, Plagiarize could still find a place in decks looking to control card advantage and disrupt opponents' plans. Its ability to draw you a card while denying your opponent's draw can be a powerful tool in the right circumstances.
Regels
15/07/2007
If you and your opponent each cast Plagiarize on each other during the same turn, the two spells effectively cancel each other out. You will draw cards when you normally would and so will your opponent.
15/07/2007
If you target a player whose library is empty, any effect or turn-based action that would cause that player to draw a card will cause you to draw a card instead. It doesn’t matter that the other player would be unable to draw.
15/07/2007
You draw the card from your library as normal, not from your opponent’s library.
04/10/2004
If you target yourself, this spell has no useful effect. It will not cause an infinite loop since a replacement effect can’t modify the same event more than once. This effect will not modify the draw that it has you perform.
