Een kaartspel dat zich richt op agressieve wezenstrategieën, vooral degenen die meerdere wezenfiches genereren of effecten op het slagveld hebben, zou baat hebben bij het opnemen van Purphoros, God of the Forge. De kaart levert extra schade op aan tegenstanders wanneer wezens het slagveld betreden en kan de kracht van je wezens vergroten voor een laatste zetje. Hoewel er misschien efficiëntere kaarten zijn voor specifieke strategieën, kan Purphoros een sterke toevoeging zijn aan kaartspellen die games snel willen afsluiten met op wezens gebaseerde agressie.
