About Stormsplitter
Stormsplitter, Creatuur — otter tovenaar, designed by Serena Malyon first released in juli 2024 in the set Bloomburrow and was printed exactly in 4 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 2,41.
Deze kaart, Stormsplitter, zou een geweldige toevoeging zijn aan een rood-blauw spellslinger deck in Magic: the Gathering. Het werkt goed samen met instant- en toverspreuken, waardoor er een sneeuwbaleffect ontstaat van het maken van meer kopieën van zichzelf. Hoewel het snel waarde kan genereren, is het nadeel dat de tokens aan het einde van de beurt verbannen worden, waardoor de langetermijneffect beperkt is. Er zijn potentieel betere kaarten voor vergelijkbare strategieën, zoals Young Pyromancer, die elementaire tokens creëert bij elke gespeelde toverspreuk en zo voor meer blijvende aanwezigheid op het speelveld zorgt. Toch zou Stormsplitter nog steeds gespeeld kunnen worden in decks die op zoek zijn naar explosieve en agressieve zetten.
