Stormwing Entity zou een geweldige aanvulling zijn op een tempo-georiënteerd deck dat zich richt op het achtereenvolgens uitspreken van meerdere instant- en tovenarij-spreuken om te profiteren van de kostenbesparing en het bekwaamheid ervan. Het zou goed kunnen werken in een blauw/rood Spellslinger-deck naast kaarten als Delver of Secrets en Young Pyromancer. Hoewel er mogelijk krachtigere opties beschikbaar zijn, maken Stormwing Entity's veelzijdigheid en potentieel voor kaartselectie met zijn scry-vermogen het een solide keuze voor decks die de aanwezigheid op het bord en het kaartvoordeel willen behouden door middel van spellcasting.
