Wizards of the Coast announced through WPN that it had extended the suspension of in-store play until June 1st.

The official announcement can be seen below:

"For the continued safety of the Magic community, in-store play suspension has been extended until June 1. We will continue to monitor the situation and make any further adjustments to in-store play, including any regional variances, as appropriate.

This includes all Ikoria events, except for At-Home Prerelease. Existing events scheduled in those regions will be cancelled, and event scheduling has been removed from Wizards Event Reporter."

Unfortunately this is a very bad situation for the Magic tabletop and especially for storekeeper who will be without customers in their stores until the beginning of June. Since many players will not be able to play physically in stores, they end up not buying cards and other products; consequently, store sales should drop.

We hope that many stores are not affected by this suspension, which unfortunately is necessary.

If you are a Magic Tabletop player or if you go to a store, consider buying some boosters, cards or other products to help storekeepers.
