About Bleeding Edge
Bleeding Edge, Sorcery, designed by Mike Bierek first released in Apr, 2019 in the set War of the Spark. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 3.41.
A deck that focuses on building a Zombie tribal theme would benefit from using Bleeding Edge in Magic: the Gathering, as it can help control the board with its removal effect and strengthen your Zombie armies with its Amass ability. However, there may be better options like Fatal Push or Dismember for removal, and more efficient ways to boost your Zombie tokens such as Death Baron or Lord of the Undead. Despite its versatility, Bleeding Edge may not be a top choice for competitive play due to its slightly high mana cost and more powerful alternatives available in the format.
Rules
05/03/19
If you don’t control an Army, the Zombie Army token that you create enters the battlefield as a 0/0 creature. Any abilities that trigger when a creature with a certain power enters the battlefield, such as that of Mentor of the Meek, will see the token enter as a 0/0 creature before it gets +1/+1 counters.
05/03/19
You may cast Bleeding Edge without choosing a target creature. You’ll just amass 2. However, if you choose a target and that target become illegal before Bleeding Edge resolves, the spell won’t resolve and you won’t amass.
