Burrog Banemaker would fit best in a black-based aggro or aristocrats-style deck that values cheap creatures with deathtouch for early board control and combat deterrence, especially in limited formats or very low-curve builds where mana sinks are useful; deathtouch makes it a strong blocker and discourages attacks, while the {1}{B} pump ability lets it trade up or push extra damage in the late game. However, in most constructed formats there are stronger options—cards like Gifted Aetherborn (which offers deathtouch and lifelink with better stats for the cost), Vampire Nighthawk (adds flying and lifelink), or even more efficient aggressive one- and two-drops like Bloodtithe Harvester or Evolved Sleeper provide more value or scalability. As a result, Burrog Banemaker would likely be playable in Limited or very budget/casual decks, but it would not generally see competitive play unless it had unusually strong stats for its cost.
