About Cocoon
Cocoon, Enchantment — aura, designed by Mark Tedin first released in Jun, 1994 in the set Legends and was printed exactly in 3 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 3.41.
This card could be beneficial in a deck focused on controlling the board and enhancing creatures with +1/+1 counters and flying abilities. While Cocoon offers a unique way to protect and eventually empower a creature, there are more efficient options like Rancor or Spider Umbra that provide similar benefits without the risk of being sacrificed. Overall, Cocoon may not see much play in competitive Magic: The Gathering decks due to its limitations and better alternatives available.
Rules
08/01/05
If the Aura is moved to a different creature, the number of counters is unchanged.
10/04/04
The creature can still be untapped using spells and abilities.
