About Hidden Herd

Hidden Herd, Enchantment, designed by Andrew Robinson first released in Oct, 1998 in the set Urza's Saga and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 2.64.

Hidden Herd would be a valuable addition to a green-based aggro deck that aims to pressure opponents early on. It can punish opponents for playing nonbasic lands by turning into a 3/3 Beast creature, providing a quick threat on the board. However, there are potentially better options like Blood Moon or Magus of the Moon that can have a more significant impact on the opponent's mana base. While Hidden Herd may not be a top-tier card, it could still see play in specific metagames or casual environments where nonbasic lands are prevalent.

Rules

08/01/08

A noncreature permanent that turns into a creature can attack, and its abilities can be activated, only if its controller has continuously controlled that permanent since the beginning of their most recent turn. It doesn’t matter how long the permanent has been a creature.

10/04/04

When it turns into a creature, it is no longer an enchantment.
