About Retether
Retether, Sorcery, designed by Dan Murayama Scott first released in February 2007 in the set Planar Chaos and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 134.07.
Retether is best in a dedicated Aura or “Enchantress” deck—especially a Voltron strategy that enchants one or more creatures, uses sacrifice effects, self-mill, or expects its Auras to be destroyed—because it can rebuild a powerful board after a wipe for only four mana; however, it should not usually be an automatic inclusion in casual or competitive decks unless you have a high Aura count and reliable creatures to enchant. The main upgrade is **Replenish**, which costs the same 3W but returns **all enchantment cards** from your graveyard, including non-Aura enchantments, making it more flexible and generally stronger; **Brilliant Restoration** and **Open the Vaults** are also broader options but cost more or help opponents. Retether is therefore a good budget or highly focused recursion spell for Aura-heavy decks, but Replenish is usually the better choice when available.

All the Auras return to the battlefield simultaneously. Whether an Aura can be attached to a creature is checked before any of them are returned and doesn’t take into account any simultaneously returning Auras. For example, if Tattoo Ward (which gives enchanted creature protection from enchantments) and Holy Strength are in your graveyard and there’s only one creature on the battlefield, both Auras are returned to the battlefield attached to that creature, then Holy Strength is put into your graveyard the next time state-based actions are checked.
