Riptide Pilferer would be a great addition to a tempo or control deck in Magic: The Gathering, as it provides consistent card advantage by forcing the opponent to discard whenever it deals combat damage. While there may be more powerful options available, such as Oona's Prowler or Hypnotic Specter, Riptide Pilferer's low cost and morph ability make it a versatile and disruptive choice that could definitely see play in the right deck.
