After two days with Draft and Standard rounds and a Top 8 full of well-known names, the Japanese Yoshihiko Ikawa (Domain Ramp) became the Pro Tour Outlaws of Thunder Junction champion after defeating his teammate and 2021 world champion, Yuta Takahashi (Azorius Control) by 3-1.
Ikawa's run during the tournament was exemplary from the first day, where he was the only undefeated player in that portion of the event - a result he managed to maintain on the second day, where he sealed his spot in the Top 8 with just one defeat in the Swiss rounds.

In the Top 8, the player won the quarterfinals against Sean Goddard (Temur Analyst), followed by a victory against Arne Huschenbeth (Esper Midrange) in the semifinals, proving the consistency of Domain against the format's current most played deck, with over 31% of the tournament's Metagame share.
The Pro Tour finals featured balanced matches against Yuta Takahashi, who, in addition to his world champion title, is also a member of the same team as Ikawa, Moriyama Japan which also includes of the tournament's semifinalists, Takumi Matsura, defeated by Takahashi in the semifinals.
