MagicFest São Paulo and other events are canceled because of Coronavirus

On its official Twitter account, ChannelFireball, announced that 4 more MagicFests have been canceled. The one in São Paulo, which would take place the following week, was among them.

The safety of MagicFest attendees is important to us and we have been monitoring the evolving public health situation closely. The official website of the event has an announcement also informing about the cancellation.

"The safety of MagicFest attendees is important to us and we have been monitoring the evolving public health situation closely. Based on additional guidance from government and public health officials, MagicFests Detroit, São Paulo, Louisville, and Palm Beach are cancelled.We regret any disappointment this may cause. If you have already registered for events or packages at any of these MagicFests those purchases will be automatically refunded."

Unfortunately ChannelFireball has yet to say whether there will be another MagicFest this year in South America.
