Widow’s Bite would fit best in a creature-heavy black deck that goes wide with small creatures—such as Aristocrats, token-based midrange, or a black-based aggro deck—since Teamwork 3 rewards you for having multiple creatures on board and effectively turns it into a flexible two-for-one combat trick (deathtouch plus -2/-2) at instant speed; however, in most competitive formats it would struggle to see play because black already has more efficient and unconditional removal like **Fatal Push**, **Go for the Throat**, **Infernal Grasp**, or **Cut Down**, which don’t require board presence and permanently answer threats, making them more reliable in control or midrange shells, so while Widow’s Bite could be a solid role-player in a synergistic, go-wide Limited or casual deck, it would likely be outclassed in higher-powered constructed environments.
