A control deck focused on board wipe strategies would benefit from including Fumigate in their deck, as it offers a powerful mass removal effect while also providing a life gain bonus. However, there are arguably better options like Wrath of God or Day of Judgment that have a lower mana cost and do not require white-specific mana, making them more versatile choices for a wider range of decks. Fumigate could still see play in certain white-heavy control decks that value the life gain aspect of the card.
