About Humble Naturalist

Humble Naturalist, Creature — human druid, designed by Matt Stewart first released in Apr, 2020 in the set Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 0.02.

This card would be beneficial in a creature-heavy deck that relies on casting creatures frequently. Decks focused on ramping up mana quickly and playing powerful creatures would find Humble Naturalist useful. While it's a decent card for its cost, there are better options like Birds of Paradise or Llanowar Elves which provide more flexibility in mana production. However, if the deck specifically needs mana for casting creatures, Humble Naturalist could still see play in certain strategies.

Mana produced by Humble Naturalist can be spent on any part of a creature spell’s total cost, including additional costs (such as kicker costs) and alternative costs (such as mutate costs). It can’t be spent to pay the costs of abilities of creatures you control.
