Quest for the Necropolis would be a great addition to a black-based graveyard recursion deck in Magic: the Gathering, where the strategy revolves around bringing creatures back from the graveyard. While this card offers a unique ability to reanimate creatures at a potentially reduced cost, it may not be as efficient as other cards like Reanimate or Animate Dead which offer similar effects at a lower mana cost and without the need for quest counters.
