About Beast Mode

**Beast Mode** fits best in go‑wide green aggro decks—especially token or Selesnya‑style creature swarms—because Teamwork 1 is trivially enabled by small creatures, letting you push damage while upgrading a key attacker permanently; it’s particularly appealing in formats where you curve out with mana dorks or 1/1 tokens and want scalable combat tricks that reward board presence. That said, in competitive formats there are stronger options: **Vines of Vastwood** (protection plus pump), **Blossoming Defense** (efficient protection), **Scale Up** (huge burst damage), and **Invigorate** (free in certain builds) are generally better in pump/combo shells, while **Rancor** or **Audacity** provide repeatable pressure in creature decks.
