This card, Enduring Ideal, would benefit a control or enchantment-based deck looking to establish a powerful board presence with enchantments. While it has a high mana cost and the drawback of not being able to cast spells afterward, its Epic ability allows for continuous value each turn. However, in competitive Magic: the Gathering, there are more efficient and versatile options available, such as Idyllic Tutor for tutoring specific enchantments or Enlightened Tutor for instant-speed searching. Enduring Ideal could see play in casual or themed decks focused on enchantments, but in more competitive settings, there are better options to consider.
