A deck that focuses on controlling the board and disrupting your opponent's strategy would benefit from using False Prophet, as it can serve as a powerful board wipe when it dies. However, there are other cards like Wrath of God or Damnation that offer similar effects at a lower cost and without the requirement of dying, making them more efficient choices for board control. False Prophet could see play in specific strategies that rely on creature exile effects, but overall, there are better options available in most cases.

False Prophet only exiles creatures, which means only creature permanents which are on the battlefield. It won’t exile itself since it is already in the graveyard.
