About Flaming Gambit

This card, Flaming Gambit, would be beneficial in a burn or aggressive red deck looking to close out the game quickly by dealing direct damage to the opponent. It offers flexibility by allowing the opponent to redirect the damage to a creature, potentially clearing a path for your other creatures to attack. While it has its uses, more efficient burn spells like Lightning Bolt or Rift Bolt may be better options in most situations due to their lower mana cost and immediate impact on the board. You can cast a spell using flashback even if it was somehow put into your graveyard without having been cast.

“Flashback [cost]” means “You may cast this card from your graveyard by paying [cost] rather than paying its mana cost” and “If the flashback cost was paid, exile this card instead of putting it anywhere else any time it would leave the stack.”
