This card would be beneficial in a Goblin tribal deck that focuses on swarming the battlefield with Goblin creatures. While Goblin Shrine can provide a power boost to Goblin creatures when enchanting a basic Mountain, there are potentially better cards like Goblin Chieftain or Goblin Warchief that offer more consistent and impactful buffs to Goblin creatures without the drawback of dealing damage upon leaving the battlefield. Overall, Goblin Shrine may not be the most optimal choice for competitive play but could still be fun to experiment with in casual Goblin-themed decks.
