About Practiced Offense
Practiced Offense, Sorcery, designed by Raluca Marinescu first released in April 2026 in the set Secrets of Strixhaven and was printed exactly in 3 different ways. It see play in 4 formats: Standard, Modern, Pioneer and Commander. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 7.35.
**Practiced Offense** fits best in a go‑wide white aggro or token deck (such as Selesnya Tokens, Mono‑White Aggro, or Commander token strategies like Rhys or Adeline) because it scales with multiple creatures by distributing +1/+1 counters across an entire board, while also pushing damage or stabilizing with double strike or lifelink; the flashback adds nice late‑game value. That said, at three mana it competes with more efficient or impactful options: **Basri’s Solidarity** (1W) and **Unbreakable Formation** (2W, often stronger with indestructible and vigilance) are usually better for counter-wide strategies, **Intangible Virtue** or **Wedding Announcement** provide ongoing value in token decks, and **Cathars’ Crusade** is far more explosive in Commander. Because it lacks instant speed (outside of flashback timing restrictions) and doesn’t provide protection, it’s likely too slow for competitive formats but could be playable in casual or Commander token builds that want redundancy and

"Flashback [cost]" means "You may cast this card from your graveyard if the resulting spell is an instant or sorcery spell by paying [cost] rather than paying its mana cost" and "If the flashback cost was paid, exile this card instead of putting it anywhere else any time it would leave the stack."
03/20/2026
A spell cast using flashback will always be exiled afterward, whether it resolves, is countered, or leaves the stack in some other way.
03/20/2026
If a card with flashback is put into your graveyard during your turn, you can cast it if it's legal to do so before any other player can take any actions.
03/20/2026
To determine the total cost of a spell, start with the mana cost or alternative cost (such as a flashback cost) you're paying, add any cost increases, then apply any cost reductions. The mana value of the spell is determined only by its mana cost, no matter what the total cost to cast the spell was.
03/20/2026
You can cast a spell using flashback even if it was somehow put into your graveyard without having been cast.
03/20/2026
You must still follow any timing restrictions and permissions, including those based on the card's type. For instance, you can cast a sorcery using flashback only when you could normally cast a sorcery.
