Pyric Salamander, Creature — salamander, designed by Tony Roberts first released in May, 2020 in the set Mirage. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 2.35.
A deck that focuses on aggressive red strategies and wants to apply pressure early in the game would benefit from using Pyric Salamander. However, there are better cards like Monastery Swiftspear or Goblin Guide that offer more consistent damage output without the drawback of sacrificing the creature. Pyric Salamander could see play in more casual or budget decks, but in competitive settings, it may not be the optimal choice.
