About Veiled Crocodile

Veiled Crocodile, Enchantment, designed by Paolo Parente first released in Oct, 1998 in the set Urza's Saga. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 3.99.

A deck that focuses on controlling the opponent's hand size, such as through discard effects or card draw manipulation, would benefit from using Veiled Crocodile. However, there are more efficient cards like Ensnaring Bridge or The Rack that offer similar effects with less setup required, making them better choices for competitive play. Veiled Crocodile could be a fun and thematic inclusion in a casual deck centered around enchantments or crocodile tribal themes.

Rules

08/01/08

A noncreature permanent that turns into a creature can attack, and its abilities can be activated, only if its controller has continuously controlled that permanent since the beginning of their most recent turn. It doesn’t matter how long the permanent has been a creature.

10/04/04

It can trigger even if a player’s hand is empty momentarily during the middle of the resolution of a spell or ability.
