Riptide Survivor, Creature — human wizard, designed by Thomas M. Baxa first released in May, 2003 in the set Scourge and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 2.34.
Riptide Survivor would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on card advantage and graveyard interactions, such as a control or combo deck. Its ability to draw three cards upon being turned face up can provide a significant advantage in the late game. However, there are better cards with similar effects like Snapcaster Mage or Jace, Vryn's Prodigy, which offer more versatility and consistency in competitive play. Overall, Riptide Survivor could see play in more casual or budget decks but might struggle to find a place in highly competitive Magic: the Gathering formats.

If you have less than 2 cards in your hand, discard all the cards you have. If you have no cards in hand, you can discard zero and draw 3.
