A deck that focuses on ramping up mana and fixing colors, such as a Selesnya midrange or control deck, would benefit from using Temple of Plenty. While it provides some card selection with its scry ability, there are better dual lands available, like Temple Garden or Sunpetal Grove, which enter untapped. However, Temple of Plenty could still see play in decks looking for additional mana fixing and don't mind the drawback of entering tapped.

When you scry, you may put all the cards you look at back on top of your library, you may put all of those cards on the bottom of your library, or you may put some of those cards on top and the rest of them on the bottom.
