About Timber Wolves
Timber Wolves, Creature — wolf, designed by Melissa A. Benson first released in May, 2020 in the set Limited Edition Alpha and was printed exactly in 12 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 3.98.
A deck that focuses on creature synergy and combat manipulation would benefit from including Timber Wolves in its strategy, as the Banding ability can create advantageous combat situations and allow for strategic blocking and attacking. However, in the current Magic: the Gathering card pool, there are more powerful and efficient cards that offer similar effects, such as cards with more impactful abilities or stronger stats for the same mana cost. Therefore, Timber Wolves may not see much play in competitive decks but could still be a fun and thematic inclusion in casual or themed decks.
Rules
10/01/08
Creatures in the same band must all attack the same player or planeswalker.
10/01/08
If a creature with banding attacks, it can team up with any number of other attacking creatures with banding (and up to one nonbanding creature) and attack as a unit called a “band.” The band can be blocked by any creature that could block a single creature in the band. Blocking any creature in a band blocks the entire band. If a creature with banding is blocked, the attacking player chooses how the blockers’ damage is assigned.
