About Trip Wire
Trip Wire, Sorcery, designed by Hong Yan first released in May, 1999 in the set Portal Three Kingdoms and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 13.40.
Trip Wire would be particularly beneficial in a green-based control or midrange deck that aims to manage the board by removing key threats, especially those with horsemanship, which can be difficult to deal with otherwise. While it offers a unique removal option, there are arguably better alternatives, such as Beast Within, which can destroy any permanent, providing more versatility for just one additional mana. However, if your deck specifically aims to counter creatures with horsemanship, Trip Wire can find a niche role, but it may not see widespread play due to the limited prevalence of horsemanship in most formats.
