About Vent Sentinel

Vent Sentinel, Creature — elemental, designed by Chris Rahn first released in Apr, 2010 in the set Rise of the Eldrazi and was printed exactly in 4 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 0.20.

A deck focused on a defender strategy, such as a Walls or a High Alert deck in Magic: the Gathering, would benefit from including Vent Sentinel as it provides a repeatable source of direct damage based on the number of defender creatures you control. While Vent Sentinel can be a strong addition to such a deck, there are potentially better options like Axebane Guardian or Overgrown Battlement which can generate more mana for bigger plays. However, Vent Sentinel can still be a solid inclusion in the right deck, especially if the strategy revolves around defenders and dealing direct damage to the opponent.
