Azorius Fliers is a variant of Azorius Tempo decks that emerged in Standard with the release of Avatar: The Last Airbender.

This version seeks to maintain the strategy of proactive plays with effective ETB effects but complements it with Momo, Friendly Flier to reduce mana costs and with the "combo" between Airbending and creatures with Warp, in addition to using the combination of Splash Portal and Quantum Riddler, common in Izzet Prowess lists.

We need to start this list with the fundamental point: we try as much as possible to circumvent the cost of cards with Warp by using Blink and Airbending effects to get these creatures into play as early as possible.

Starfield Shepherd provides a small toolbox of one-drops. Today, we use it to increase consistency in finding Momo, Friendly Flier and Nurturing Pixie, but we can also include cards like Mockingbird.

Quantum Riddler is a staple as it transforms any draw effect into extra value while possessing a decent body capable of winning games on its own with an effective clock.

To circumvent the costs, we use Splash Portal as a cheap Blink effect that transforms creatures with Warp into a new object when they return to play, in addition to allowing us to reuse the ETBs of our creatures.

Airbender Ascension functions as a Tempo play to remove a blocker for one turn exiles the creature with Warp so we can play it on the next turn for Magic Symbol 2. Furthermore, since we have many creatures, enabling the enchantment's second effect is an easy task and allows us to reuse any ETB every turn.

Among the one-drops, the main card we have is Momo, Friendly Flier, which reduces the cost of the first creature with Flying that we play in the turn. Since we have cards with Flash, we can also take advantage of this ability on the opponent's turn.

Nurturing Pixie leverages the various ETB effects of our list at a low cost, while a 2/2 with Flying does enough to maintain some pressure on the board.

The one-of copy of Mockingbird can be found by Starfield Shepherd, guaranteeing a card that we can use to copy any creature on the board.

Aang, Swift Savior is another great new addition from Avatar and in addition to interacting with the board and the opponent's spells, it can also exile one of our creatures to reuse its ETB effect. Its transformed side is a relevant tool in longer games but requires a huge turn delay to work.

Aven Interrupter functions as an excellent Tempo play against more mana-hungry spells while advancing our clock. Excellent card to return to your hand with Nurturing Pixie or for Airbending effects.

Kitesail Larcenist temporarily deals with a creature or artifact on the board while interacting with the cost reduction of Momo, Friendly Flier. Remember that when you blink it, it becomes a new object, and therefore the card it was "locking" returns to its original types and effects.

Boomerang Basics has a dual function. If you return a card you control, you gain a card draw and reuse all the ETB effects of the permanent. If you return an opponent's creature, it's a powerful tempo play to maintain the pace of the game.

Seam Rip is best positioned against Aggro but works against Stormchaser's Talent and other cheap permanents in the current Metagame.

Get Lost is an instant-speed interaction that works almost unconditionally against any threat on the table, opening up more space to deal with cards like Kaito, Bane of Nightmares or Shiko, Paragon of the Way.

Multiversal Passage and a set of both types of basic lands add consistency to Floodfarm Verge being an versatile untapped dual, but we also use Starting Town to have more lands capable of generating both colors of the deck, in addition to Restless Anchorage as a complementary threat.

Spider-Woman, Stunning Savior helps control the clock for Aggro decks while also maintaining board pressure. We can swap it for Authority of the Consuls if we want to respect Leyline Prowess/Mono Red more often.

Seam Rip and Get Lost complement the maindeck removals, and we also have a copy of Sheltered by Ghosts for games against Mono Red or Gruul Prowess.

Disdainful Stroke is our best answer in Control matches that also works against Superior Spider-Man and other common payoffs from Reanimator decks. It can also be useful against Jeskai Artifacts.

Spider-Sense allows us to reuse one of our creatures while protecting another from removal, in addition to dealing with troublesome triggers for a turn.

The copy of Negate complements our counterspells for Control games, while also working against Izzet Prowess, Jeskai Artifacts, Dimir Bounce, and other archetypes with many non-creature spells.

Clarion Conqueror has become a necessity in a Metagame where several archetypes rely on the combination of Badgermole Cub with eight mana dorks to explode in mana. It also deals with Enduring Vitality lists that rely on the same combination.

Rest in Peace is our answer against Reanimator, but it's also a possible side-in if we want to lock Accumulate Wisdom or Gran-Gran from Lessons lists, since they can outvalue us quite easily.
