Josh Lee Kwai resigns from Commander Advisory Group

In a letter posted on X (formerly Twitter), the CEO of CommandZone and Game Knights announced his departure from the Commander Advisory Group, which works with the Rules Comittee to define changes to the format. Three Commander staples were banned this week.

CommandZone channel CEO Josh Lee Kwai has left the Commander Advisory Group. The announcement was made through a post on the X network (formerly Twitter) in the early hours of this Thursday, September 26th.

Last Monday, Commander underwent changes in its banned and restricted listlink outside website, removing Nadu, Winged Wisdom of the format, in addition to the staples Jeweled Lotus, Mana Crypt and Dockside Extortionist. The bans generated a major backlash among players, especially the cEDH audience, a more competitive aspect of Commander.
