Azorius Faeries blends the well‑established Mono Blue Faeries with a core of white staples from White Weenie, including Novice Inspector, Kor Skyfisher to reuse ETBs, and the recently released Leonardo, Big Brother, which amplifies combat pressure as we advance our game plan and synergizes with our strategy. We round out this plan with a mix of staples from both colors, such as Counterspell for Tempo and spot or flexible removal, including Journey to Nowhere and Thraben Charm in the maindeck and Sunlance in the Sideboard. The DecklistMaindeckWe run the faerie package, with the classic one‑drops Faerie Seer and Faerie Miscreant to filter the top of the library and draw cards, and Spellstutter Sprite to counter cheap spells as the game progresses. On the white side, we have Novice Inspector as a one‑drop that guarantees draws with its ETB in the long run. The Clue tokens end up being more efficient than the prepared spell from Elite Interceptor since we often pass turns with mana up, letting us hold answers and, if they go unused, pay two to draw a card.Inspector also makes it easier to have a Human on board alongside a Faerie to pay for Of One Mind, one of our card advantage sources.Moon-Circuit Hacker enables Ninjutsu synergies and extra draws as early as turn two, reuses our creatures' ETBs, and is another Human for Of One Mind.Kor Skyfisher is the other reason to run white. It reuses the ETB of our creatures and enables another cycle of synergies between Ninjutsu/Sneak and the Faeries. It also has a decent body and creates a "loop" with Moon-Circuit Hacker in the absence of blockers. Our list mixes go‑wide lines with Tempo plays, and increasing our clock is a benefit we can secure with Leonardo, Big Brother, dealing on average four to six damage in a single attack if the game goes long. In the worst case, a Lava Spike that returns Spellstutter Sprite to hand is still useful.Counterspell is a staple of blue decks, and there is no reason to leave it out. There are cases where we struggle to have two blue mana while advancing our strategy, but by turn three or four, we are guaranteed to have mana for a backup spell.Journey to Nowhere answers any threat on board, and Thraben Charm depends on the number of creatures in play to work as removal, but it has value as a maindeck graveyard and enchantment hate. Our mana base consists of basic lands, but we include Ash Barrens to make it easier to access white or to have two Islands and Azorius Chancery to reuse lands and ensure land drops each turn.SideboardOne‑mana answers for the format's matchups.Hydroblast handles red archetypes, especially Aggro decks like Madness Burn and Red Rally. Steel Sabotage creates "extra turns" against Affinity early in the game and answers Refurbished Familiar, Myr Enforcer, and other artifacts.Sunlance adds to board interaction against aggressive archetypes with specific threats. Priority targets include Guttersnipe / Kessig Flamebreather, Wellwisher, Priest of Titania, Mesmeric Fiend, and others.Envelop is the cheapest answer to Dread Return against Spy Combo. Useful against End the Festivities in Games 2 and 3, but most red lists have opted for Cast into the Fire.Relic of Progenitus adds to graveyard hate against Terror and Spy Combo. It can also come in against Tron and Inside Out, or against Sneaky Snacker in other decks.Sideboard GuideMadness BurnINOUTMono Blue TerrorINOUTGrixis AffinityINOUTElvesINOUTSpy ComboINOUTGolgari GardensINOUTWrapping UpIf you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment! Thanks for reading!
