Een kaartspel gericht op agressieve wezens die profiteren van ontwijking en kaartselectie zou baat hebben bij het opnemen van Aqueous Form. Hoewel het nuttig kan zijn bij bepaalde strategieën, zijn er andere kaarten zoals Curiosity of Curious Obsession die vergelijkbare effecten bieden met extra kaarttrekkingspotentieel, waardoor ze mogelijk betere opties zijn, afhankelijk van de algemene strategie van het kaartspel. Het zou kunnen spelen in decks die wezenaanvallen en bibliotheekmanipulatie willen optimaliseren.
