Een deck dat zich richt op het aanrichten van consistente schade aan tegenstanders zou baat hebben bij het opnemen van Curiosity, vooral in een op blauw gebaseerd controle- of tempodeck waar het trekken van kaarten cruciaal is voor het behouden van kaartvoordeel en het vinden van sleutelstukken. Hoewel Curiosity een solide kaart is voor het trekken van kaarten, geven sommige decks misschien de voorkeur aan efficiëntere opties zoals Ophidian of Bident of Thassa voor vergelijkbare effecten, afhankelijk van de specifieke strategie en de beschikbare kaartenpool.
