Deze Firecat Blitz-kaart zou goed werken in een rood, agressief kaartspel dat tot doel heeft om het bord snel met meerdere wezens te laten zwermen, mogelijk als afmaker of om druk uit te oefenen. Hoewel Firecat Blitz een krachtige tijdelijke tokengeneratie biedt, kan deze worden overtroffen door efficiëntere tokenmakers zoals Dragon Fodder of Krenko's Command in termen van mana-efficiëntie en duurzaamheid. In de juiste build, gericht op opofferingssynergieën of middelenbeheer, zou Firecat Blitz het spel echter kunnen zien als een situationele en impactvolle kaart.

To determine the total cost of a spell, start with the mana cost or alternative cost (such as a flashback cost) you’re paying, add any cost increases, then apply any cost reductions. The converted mana cost of the spell is determined only by its mana cost, no matter what the total cost to cast the spell was.
