Phyresis is een krachtige kaart die nuttig kan zijn in een kaartspel dat gericht is op agressieve strategieën en het snel aanrichten van schade. Decks die gericht zijn op het overwinnen van infectieschade zouden veel baat hebben bij het opnemen van Phyresis, omdat het een kosteneffectieve manier biedt om een wezen te besmetten. Hoewel er misschien andere kaarten zijn die vergelijkbare effecten bieden, is Phyresis een solide optie voor decks die willen profiteren van het infectiemechanisme en zouden ze zeker moeten worden gespeeld in decks die prioriteit geven aan infectie als winvoorwaarde.
