About Polymorf

Polymorf, Tovenarij, designed by Robert Bliss first released in May, 2020 in the set Mirage and was printed exactly in 6 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 1.31.

Polymorph is vooral effectief in controle- of tempodecks die tot doel hebben het bord te beheren en tegelijkertijd waarde te genereren uit op wezens gebaseerde strategieën, omdat het niet alleen een dreiging wegneemt, maar deze ook vervangt door een potentieel krachtiger wezen uit de bibliotheek van de tegenstander. Decks die zich richten op op wezens gebaseerde combo's of decks die de bovenkant van de bibliotheek kunnen manipuleren, zoals een Polymorph-deck met kaarten zoals Ponder of Brainstorm, kunnen het echter synergetischer vinden. Hoewel Polymorph krachtig kan zijn, worden kaarten als Path to Exile of Swords to Plowshares vaak beschouwd als betere opties voor het verwijderen van wezens vanwege hun efficiëntie en het ontbreken van nadelen. Hoewel Polymorph zijn niche heeft, wordt het over het algemeen misschien niet wijdverspreid gespeeld in vergelijking met meer gestroomlijnde verwijderingsopties.

If the targeted creature has indestructible, it’s still a legal target — it just isn’t destroyed. The rest of Polymorph’s effect happens as normal.

If there are no creature cards in the player’s library, all the cards in that library are revealed, then the library is shuffled. (The targeted creature remains destroyed.)

04/10/04

If there are no creatures in the player’s library, then the target creature is still destroyed, you see all the cards in that player’s library, and then they shuffle and continue play.
