Een tribal deck dat zich richt op een specifiek type wezen, zoals Elfen of Goblins, zou enorm profiteren van Steely Resolve omdat het bescherming biedt aan alle wezens van het gekozen type, waardoor ze moeilijk te verwijderen zijn met gerichte spreuken of vaardigheden. Hoewel Steely Resolve een solide keuze is voor tribale strategieën, zijn er potentieel betere opties zoals Ascese, dat een soortgelijk effect biedt naast regeneratie, of Heroic Intervention, dat ook bescherming biedt tegen board wipes.
