Venser's Journaal, Artefact, designed by Christopher Moeller first released in Oct, 2010 in the set Scars of Mirrodin and was printed exactly in 3 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 12.83.
Een controle- of midrange-deck dat zich richt op kaartvoordeel en levenswinst zou baat hebben bij het gebruik van Venser's Journal, omdat het een grotere handgrootte mogelijk maakt en elke beurt extra levenswinst oplevert. Hoewel er misschien betere opties zijn voor specifieke strategieën, zoals Necropotence voor pure kaarttrekking of Sphinx's Revelation voor levenswinst en kaarttrekking, kan Venser's Journal nog steeds een solide toevoeging zijn aan decks die op zoek zijn naar waarde tijdens het lange spel.

If multiple effects modify your hand size, apply them in timestamp order. For example, if you put Null Profusion (an enchantment that says your maximum hand size is two) onto the battlefield and then put Venser’s Journal onto the battlefield, you’ll have no maximum hand size. However, if those permanents enter the battlefield in the opposite order, your maximum hand size would be two.
