A deck focused on sacrificing creatures for value, such as a sacrifice or aristocrats deck, would benefit from including Goremand in its strategy. While Goremand offers a powerful effect of making opponents sacrifice creatures upon entering the battlefield, there are potentially better options like Massacre Wurm or Grave Titan that provide more immediate impact or value. However, Goremand could still see play in certain sacrifice-themed decks looking to disrupt opponents' board states and apply pressure.

As Goremand’s triggered ability resolves, first the next opponent in turn order (or, if it’s an opponent’s turn, the opponent whose turn it is) chooses a creature they control, then each other opponent in turn order does the same knowing the choices made before them. Then all the chosen creatures are sacrificed at the same time.
