Transcendence causes you to gain 2 life for every 1 damage dealt to you.
Rain of Gore's ability replaces any lifegain with this same amount of damage.
When you gain life with Transcendence, Rain of Gore will deal that amount of damage instead, which will cause you to have another instance of lifegain, which will be replaced with another instance of damage by Rain of Gore
This will create a loop thar forces a tie.
