This card, Aether Storm, would be beneficial in a control deck that aims to restrict the opponent's ability to play creatures. However, there are better options available such as Humility or Moat which provide more comprehensive creature control. Aether Storm could see situational play in specific metas but may not be a staple in most decks due to its limitations and the existence of more powerful alternatives.
