About Bestial Incursion

Bestial Incursion, Sorcery, designed by Justin Gerard first released in September 2026 in the set Reality Fracture. It see play in 1 format: Commander. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of $ 0.01.

Bestial Incursion would benefit green token, graveyard, self-mill, sacrifice, and midrange decks—especially casual Commander decks that can ramp to four mana and value generating threats from the graveyard—but it is probably too inefficient for competitive Constructed play because four mana for one 4/4 is only fair and its seven-mana flashback cost is expensive. Its closest comparison is Call of the Herd, which is generally better for efficiency because it creates a creature for 3G and flashes back for only 2G, although its tokens are smaller and lack trample; cards such as Chatterfang, Herd Migration, or more powerful ramp and token engines may also provide greater overall value depending on the deck. Bestial Incursion is playable in slower, casual green decks that specifically want a resilient threat or graveyard value, but it should not see serious competitive play unless the format strongly rewards large trampling creatures or flashback synergies.

Rules

08/21/2026

"Flashback [cost]" means "You may cast this card from your graveyard if the resulting spell is an instant or sorcery spell by paying [cost] rather than paying its mana cost" and "If the flashback cost was paid, exile this card instead of putting it anywhere else any time it would leave the stack."

08/21/2026

A spell cast using flashback will always be exiled afterward, whether it resolves, is countered, or leaves the stack in some other way.

08/21/2026

If a card with flashback is put into your graveyard during your turn, you can cast it if it's legal to do so before any other player can take any actions.

08/21/2026

To determine the total cost of a spell, start with the mana cost or alternative cost (such as a flashback cost) you're paying, add any cost increases, then apply any cost reductions. The mana value of the spell is determined only by its mana cost, no matter what the total cost to cast the spell was.

08/21/2026

You can cast a spell using flashback even if it was somehow put into your graveyard without having been cast.

08/21/2026

You must still follow any timing restrictions and permissions, including those based on the card's type. For instance, you can cast a sorcery using flashback only when you could normally cast a sorcery.
