About Glorifying Verse

Glorifying Verse, Enchantment, designed by first released in May, 2026 in the set Alchemy: Secrets of Strixhaven.

Glorifying Verse would fit best in a white-black (Orzhov) Heroic-style or spells-matter deck that frequently casts targeted instants and sorceries—such as combat tricks, protection spells (like Gods Willing-style effects), or cheap removal that can target your own creatures—because Exalted rewards attacking with a single creature while Repartee snowballs card advantage by continually conjuring more copies when you target creatures; it would particularly shine in a go-tall strategy built around one resilient threat (for example, a lifelink or double strike creature) backed by protection and pump spells. However, in most competitive formats it would likely be too slow or “win-more,” since it requires setup and additional spells to generate value, and stronger, more efficient engines already exist—such as Monastery Mentor (which generates immediate board presence), Seasoned Hallowblade-style resilient threats, or even Phyrexian Arena and Wedding Announcement for consistent card advantage—
