This card would work well in a control deck that focuses on casting a variety of spells with long names to maximize the milling effect. However, there are more efficient mill cards available such as Mind Funeral or Mind Grind which can mill a larger number of cards for a lower cost, making them better options for a mill strategy. How Is This a Par Three?! may not see much play in competitive decks due to its high casting cost and the availability of more powerful alternatives.
