About Lyev Decree
Lyev Decree, Sorcery, designed by Kev Walker first released in May, 2013 in the set Dragon's Maze. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of $ 0.35.
This card, Lyev Decree, would be beneficial in a control deck that focuses on slowing down the opponent's board development and maintaining board control. While it can be useful in certain situations, there are more efficient options available such as Detention Sphere, which can permanently exile a problematic permanent. However, Lyev Decree could still see play in decks looking for temporary creature control options or in formats where Detention Sphere is not legal.

If a creature is already attacking or blocking when it’s detained, it won’t be removed from combat. It will continue to attack or block.
