Noxious Bayou Playtest, Land, designed by James Rose first released in Nov, 2019 in the set Mystery Booster Playtest Cards 2019 and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
Noxious Bayou Playtest would be beneficial in a Golgari (Black-Green) deck that focuses on utilizing both black and green mana for a variety of spells and creatures. The ability to generate both colors of mana efficiently can help ramp up your mana base, while the downside of receiving a poison counter can be mitigated with cards that can remove poison counters or win the game quickly before they become a threat. However, there are better dual lands available in Magic: The Gathering that provide both colors of mana without the drawback of poison counters, such as Overgrown Tomb or Blooming Marsh, which would likely be preferred in most competitive decks.
11/12/19
A player with ten or more poison counters loses the game as a state-based action.
