Quicken, Instant, designed by Aleksi Briclot first released in Feb, 2006 in the set Guildpact and was printed exactly in 6 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Commander. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of $ 0.15.
Quicken can be a valuable addition to decks that rely on sorcery spells with powerful effects, such as combo decks or control decks. While Quicken provides flexibility and allows for surprise plays, there are better alternatives like Leyline of Anticipation or Vedalken Orrery that offer similar effects with additional benefits. Quicken could see play in certain niche strategies, but overall, it may not be the most optimal choice for competitive Magic: the Gathering decks.

After Quicken resolves, you can Suspend a sorcery in your hand any time you can cast an instant. As soon as you actually cast a sorcery, you lose this capability.

You don’t choose a sorcery card when Quicken resolves. Rather, this sets up a rule that is true for you until the turn ends or until you cast a sorcery card, even if you cast that sorcery at a time you normally could.
