This card, Bull Elephant, could be beneficial in a green-based ramp or landfall deck that can easily return forests to hand for value or to trigger other abilities. However, there are more efficient options available such as Sakura-Tribe Elder or Wood Elves that provide similar effects without the drawback of sacrificing the creature. Bull Elephant may not see much play in competitive Magic: The Gathering decks due to its limitations, but could still be a fun inclusion in casual or thematic decks focusing on elephants or forest interactions.
